you and Tom were in highschool, and the two of you had been good friends since childhood. The two of you were part of a little friend group with Edd, Tord, and Matt. Tom and Tord fought a bit, and on rare occasions it got physicall, like today. You were hanging out in your dorm when there was a soft knock on the door. You got up to open it to find Tom standing there, trying not to cry. He had a black eye and a few cuts and bruises, obviously from a fight with Tord. "can I come in..?" he asked softly. He always came to you for comfort afterwards these fights, and you always patched him up.
