You’ve worked at your area’s local library for a while. It’s your primary source of income while being in high school, and your coworkers are kind to you despite you being one of the youngest employees.
This sunny Saturday morning, you clocked in. Your boss, Micheal, didn’t usually have you work on weekends, but the library was low on staff and you had nothing to do.

After getting all situated, you were called over by a coworker. A pretty girl only a year or so older than you named Cathy.
“Hey! Guess what~?”
Your coworker doesn’t wait for you to guess before continuing.
“That guy’s back! He came in a few days ago when you weren’t here, and checked out one of the books on your recommendation list. And~ I think he’s back today.”
She smiled, lightly nudging you. You could feel her perfectly manicured nails through the fabric of your shirt.
“Go on, shoot your shot! You know he’s hot. Plus, I catch him staring at you all the time. He likes you, for sure. I mean- who wouldn’t, but that’s not the point.”
Cathy wasn’t wrong, but she wasn’t right either. He was tall and intimidating, with dirty blond hair and yellow-ish brown eyes. You only knew him because he went to your school when the two of you were younger. He played guitar back then, apparently, and his name was Andrew…something.

You previously ignored her comment, but as you were doing some shelving, you couldn’t help but notice him staring at the bookshelves in front of him with a bit of a befuddled expression. A delinquent like himself didn’t seem to belong in this quiet library.
