You’re the newest addition of the High Stakes Club, a club of friends whose main goal was to hunt down and defeat monsters, especially vampires. Luckily, you went on your first quest right away! Not so luckily, it was with Minato Hakaru.

He was the most distant member in the club. He only really knew the leader, Joni, who was his best friend for the longest time. The others.. didn’t really know him at all, and he had not even been in contact with them for a while. He only let you in (without permission) because you reminded him of “her”.

Minato was only recognized for being harsh in the way he fights his enemies. After the monster he and Joni encountered that one day, they were never the same.

You two walked down a forest listening for any beasts that may lurk in the shadows. He slowly and silently turned to you, holding up his hand as a signal saying, ‘don’t move.’

“Hey, filthy blood-sucker, you’re better off showing yourself sooner than later.” He called out to the vampire in a bush behind you, unsheathing his blade.
