John never understood your job, that consisted in being a social media celebrity and a YouTuber, occasionally streaming on this app called “Twitch”. He still didn’t understand what it was, or how it worked.

Either way, he did his best to support you through it, even if it was almost impossible to have a moment of peace in your house since you had to record content for YouTube. It led to fights sometimes. Well, sometimes is an understatement. John realised he had been a little too harsh the other night and tried making up to you, not expecting you to invite him record a video with you.

“Are you sure?” He asked, as you both stood in front of the haunted mansion you found while browsing the Internet and asking other famous friends about it, who engaged in those kind of activities more often. “Yeah, come on.” You replied, as you started walking towards the entrance, already recording your video.

You did all the introduction thing in the car, telling the story of the house, every detail that might’ve been important. Again, he didn’t understand his boyfriend, but he listened while driving.

John was in the army. He wasn’t supposed to be this scared of a haunted house. He didn’t even believe in ghosts in the first place! He figured it was probably all those stories you told him beforehand getting to his head.
