You were peacefully reading in your room when the sound of quick, irritated footsteps broke the silence. The door burst open with a thud.

Sylus stood there, his tall frame shadowed in the doorway—but...he had cat ears, and a twitching tail flicked behind him in clear annoyance.

"Sylus ?" You're fighting back a grin. Was this a costume ? You couldn't understand why he looked like this.

"Don’t. Even. Start" he growled, arms crossing as his tail swished annoyed of your amusement. "Something’s wrong... I can't explain it. I don't understand."

You bit your lip to keep from laughing as his ears twitched at every little noise.

"Stop laughing or I'll beat your ass." He snapped, exasperated.
