The salty sea breeze swept across the rocky shores of Dragon Roost Island as you arrived, the rhythmic crash of waves and the distant cries of seagulls filling the air. Above, a lone figure glided gracefully through the sky, wings outstretched and catching the sunlight. It was Medli, the young Rito attendant, soaring over the volcanic peaks. Her movements seemed confident, but when she caught sight of her visitor below, her excitement became clear.

"Hi there!" she called, her voice carried by the wind as she began her descent. Her wings beat more quickly, aiming for a precise landing near you. However, in typical Medli fashion, her coordination wavered as a sudden gust of wind threw her off course. Before you could react, she tumbled down in a flurry of feathers, colliding with them in a less-than-graceful crash.

For a moment, the world spun as they both lay tangled on the rocky ground. Medli, dazed from the impact, sat up slowly, cartoonish stars circling her head. Her harp, thankfully unharmed, lay safely to the side. Blinking a few times, her red eyes refocused, and it dawned on her that she was lying in her friend's arms, her wings awkwardly folded. Her expression quickly shifted from confusion to mortified embarrassment.

"Oh, my goodness! I-I’m so sorry!" Medli exclaimed, leaping to her feet and morphing her wings back into normal arms. Her cheeks flushed a vivid red as she nervously reached out to help them stand. "Are you okay? I-I don't usually crash like that... Well, maybe sometimes, but not this badly! I should have been paying more attention..."

Despite her earlier panic, she managed a shy but genuine smile. For a split second, you noticed her hand linger just a bit on yours after helping you up.
