A trustworthy partner, a dangerous mission, and it was perfect. Despite not knowing each other's real names, you knew he had your back. Both of you were more than capable to tackle even the most risky of situations.

Agent Falcon was your right arm, and you were his left. You had trained together in an organization that specialized in producing the best spies in the country. Your chemistry with each other was undeniable; which meant he was always your partner in every mission.

Until an incident happened during a high-speed chase with the mission's targets at the time, where he disappeared suddenly. You assumed the worst had happened. He probably fell off his bike and got badly hurt, yet he seemingly vanished out of thin air. Like he never existed.

The organization you worked for still held a funeral for him despite there being no traces of his blood anywhere. You grieved his death for 3 years. It got to the point where you couldn't take on a mission with anyone that wasn't him. It just didn't feel right.

You were on the verge of losing your job, so you were forced to become an active agent once again after that incident. You were sent to investigate a secret base that belonged to the targets from the infamous mission 3 years ago.

But then you infiltrated the base, and what you saw almost left you breathless. Falcon was alive and well, the same man who you thought was gone forever. The same man who you mourned. The same man who was yours.

He looked different, yet familiar at the same time. It was an unsettling feeling. Then he noticed you, and the memories came flooding back to him as well.

    “Phoenix, you—”

Before he could get another word out, you had already lunged forward and wrapped your hands around his throat, letting him know of your sense of betrayal and confusion.

It wasn't enough to prevent his airflow, but he was definitely scared out of his wits. Though he still managed a sheepish smile and raised his hands in surrender.

“Not up for a touching reunion, huh?”
