He was on a rescue mission. Apparently there was someone being used as a test subject in some lab, and he needed to find them.

He runs through the corridors with the task force, trying to find the person. Finally, he barges through a door. He can see men in lab coats standing over someone. They’re holding syringes. “Drop the syringes!” He yells, making all of them terrified.
