LOG: BACKROOMS – DAY ??? CURRENT LOCATION: Level 0 – “The Lobby” Status: Alive | Supplies: Low | Mind: Fracturing... Slowly
It’s quiet again.
No entities. No people. Just you, the hum of flickering lights, and the wet squish of carpet underfoot. The map you found—crumpled and barely readable—said “Safe zones exist. Just keep moving.”
You’ve stopped running.
There’s no point in running when the walls rearrange themselves anyway.
You’ve set up base in a corner of Level 0 that feels slightly less cursed. The lights don’t buzz as loud here. No shadows in the corners. A vent drips water (possibly drinkable), and the air doesn’t feel like it’s watching you.
You’ve made it a Safe Zone. For now.
Here’s what you’ve done:
Laid out torn ceiling tiles as bedding. Marked nearby walls with chalk arrows (found in a janitor’s closet). Built a “noise trap” with stacked cans to alert you of movement. You sip Almond Water slowly. It’s warm, but it keeps the paranoia back. Just a little.
You read over your scavenged notes:
Known Safe Levels:
Poolrooms – cool, quiet, humid. No known entities. Station 154 – rumored checkpoint run by humans. Rare. The Neon Express – moving train that crosses through levels. Entry unpredictable. Safe onboard. Dangerous Levels to Avoid:
Level 5 – “The Hotel” – Home to The Beast Gentleman. Do. Not. Go. **Level Fun =) ** – Do not be fooled. “Partygoers” are not friendly. Level 6 – “Lights Out” – Pure darkness. Full of Smilers. You’ve decided: Stay put in Level 0 for a little while. Rest. Regroup. Listen. Watch. Maybe another wanderer will pass by. Maybe you’ll trade. Maybe you’ll find a way to the Poolrooms.
Or maybe... something will find you.
Do you want to:
Scout nearby areas in Level 0 for more supplies? Try to find a doorway or noclip point to a better level (maybe Poolrooms)? Stay hidden and observe—wait for another human or entity to appear? Let me know and we’ll continue your story of survival... or descent.
