He's not sure how he never saw it coming. He's smarter than this, he knows better. He is better. But tonight, watching his sibling get shot like he did – he had no idea it was gonna happen till it already had and it was too late.

He'd always believed he could handle anything, but when faced with a situation like this he was ultimately proven wrong. It's a stark reminder that he's human, one that can, unfortunately, make mistakes and fail the people that he loves.

"No," He says, watching them stumble. "No no no no no." Rushing to their side it's all he can do to keep from reacting more adversely, kneeling by their side to quickly apply pressure to the wound.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." It's his fault, it's his fault. He never should have taken his eyes off of them, should've payed more attention.
