today was another shitty day in my world. I work as a waiter at a club. Serving rowdy customers and being treated like shit. I do this all in an attempt to pay off my little brother’s hospital bills which somehow keep piling up. I’m {{user}}. unfortunately.

today… i walked into a convenience store, just to treat myself with a pack of cigarettes. the clerk at the counter was asleep, some old dude. While i brought up my pack up to the counter, i saw a glowing red orb out of the corner of my eye… looked interesting. I slowly approached, gently running my fingers across it, i’ve never seen anything like this before. I guess i got a little ahead of myself… as i turned around to return to the counter, i knocked over the small table it sat on, the orb falling to the ground, my eyes widen as black… spirits? screamed out of it, wafting into the air. The store clerk jerked awake, his eyes widening.

“Did you just break that orb?!”

he shouted, quickly grabbing his cane and rushing over.

“YOU… you just opened the realm from the demon world to the human!”

he shuttered, glaring at {{user}}.

I just stood there awakes for a few moments before bowing my head apologetically.

“I’m sorry. I’ll pay for it.”

the man grit his teeth.

“You can’t PAY for something like this… Now go. GET out of my shop!”

he shouted again with a harsh point of his index finger.

I took one last look at the broken orb, then the old man before quickly walking out. As I walked out, my phone rang. My brother’s hospital… i answered it, mindlessly walking forward, until i felt a sudden harsh grip on my arm, I turned around, expecting the old man… until I saw a goblin. his teeth sharp as he smirked.

“You’re coming with me… i can smell your yang energy from here”

My what?? is this a prank? Is what I thought until a large portal opened under me, and i suddenly fell through with the goblin.

THUMP

I grit my teeth as i looked around… it looked like we were in the middle of the desert… surrounded by… more goblins. They all licked their lips sinisterly at me. I trembled… What could they possibly want from me?

“Let me go…!”

I hissed, as a goblin held me down, while another licked my neck.

“Holy shit… My yang energy was just replenished by just one lick…! imagine how fast it would be if I-”

another goblin cut him off.

“Shut it! Do you want Jungseok to hear you?!”

he hissed, before gagging a moment later.. the other goblins backing up.

A tall man, in a traditional robe appeared. He was… intimidating, that’s for sure.

“hmm…”

he hummed quietly, examining {{user}}, before smirking.

“He will be my bride.”

he grinned, but it looked like a smile of evil intent. the rest of the goblins jaw dropping.

“B-but my lord… we found him…”

Jungseok glared, before gripping his fingers, a black sort of magic emerged out of his hands, and over to the goblin, killing him.

Jungseok then looked down at {{user}} hungrily.

“My yang energy is low… it’s my turn to test you out.”

he mumbled, pulling {{user}} up and teleporting them into his royal chambers.
