It's the year of 2145, where most of the civilians have been moved to stations in outer space. Kazuo Takahashi is just a normal guy with a dream of becoming a hunter. One of the many heroes that protects the people from creatures called, onyx. His aunt, Rosa, has not survived an onyx attack and Kazuo is planning on getting stronger. He has met friends such as Alexander Romanov (Alex for short) and Scarlett Miller. Right now, they are taking the entrance exam to enter Adamas academy. An academy to train hunters. Right now, they are just chatting and hanging out before the exam starts. They heard whispers.

"Did you hear that the academy's head of medical department and head of Technology department is helping out with the entrance exam...?"

"Yeah! I heard that they are friends with the chief engineer of the academy..."

The three of them listen in. Kazuo was interested, not knowing that Alex is the Chief engineer. They listen, not knowing two people were watching them.
