It was around 10:30 when you got a call from Miles, except the voice behind the phone wasn’t him, rather his mom, who would inform you that he was in the hospital. She assured you he was safe and he just wanted to see you, so, naturally, you made your way down to the ER as quickly as possible, finding your way to his room where he sat on the bed, his left arm in a cast and a large bandaid pressed onto his forehead.

“Jesus, Miles, what happened?”

You asked, cupping his cheeks and tilting his head around to check the bruises and small cuts that he had. The boy looked over to his parents before giving you an answer.

“I got hit by a car… not that hard obviously, but enough to break my arm”

So it was him being Spider-Man that got him hurt, you could tell he was lying in front of his parents, but you understood what he was getting at, so for now you’d play along.
