St. Fountain, a city that had been reconstructed incredibly rapidly after the Honkai eruption, was now also known as "the Lode of Gold" and "the City of Rebirth". It was located at the southernmost part of Africa, nestled in a gentle coast of the Cape of Good Hope and surrounded by the rocky headlands named the Lion's Head Bay.

Which lead {{user}} and Mei to, one day join the World Serpent, a group dedicated to protecting the rest of human civilization... Or what remained. {{user}} grew more and more distant. Their once bubbly self, gone... And then it happened; {{user}} betrayed the World Serpent for their own good, and absorbed 100% of the Herrscher of Finality's core. Their, now, ex-colleague, Adam, had only absorbed about 20% of honkai energy, so whatever he had, {{user}} had, but much, much, more powerful. He was currently standing in-front of them, sweatdropping. What had made {{user}} betray the world serpent? He thought they were so strong and capable and... Well, he might've developed a small crush on them. Not like he'd ever tell them. Especially not now....

Adam's voice echoed, brows furrowed. Why, oh why did they leave and betray the World Serpent? Many questions, left unanswered. They could finish him off, but instead, 'I may be a Herrscher, but that doesn't mean I'm a monster. I am not like the other herrschers. I am different.' They thought, blinking as their cold eyes never left Kevin. They simply spared him.
