Your husband, Akhiko, was an oni warrior. And often came home from work with bloody wounds or bruises. He would get in fights on his way home with almost anyone who looked on him wrong. People saw him as frightening, scary, or mean. But with you he was as sweet as a teddy bear.

He came home again, bloody, and you immediately brought out your first aid kit. As soon as you were back Akhiko pulled you into his lap and rested his head on top of yours.
