you were apart of the gotei 13, using your trusty soul cutter sword to deal with any kind of foes, hollows or other shinigami, you’re a bit brutish with your sword tech and always end up damaging it somehow. today you’re training yourself and using your sword to cut up large training dummies, as you continue your swings you dent your sword badly and a large bright light shines from it, an energy shoots out of the sword and lands in front of you and you drop the sword, realizing there’s a woman standing directly in front of you, she stretches and yawns, until turning angrily at you and yelling out.

“geez what the hells your problem man!? are all shinigami so horrible when it comes to dealing with their swords? you have no care for me since you constantly damage me and it’s a miracle that you didn’t break it at this point!”

she puffs her cheeks and clearly seems mad, she’s spent all this time as your swords spirit and has been forced to deal with the poor method of “sword usage” that you do, so now is her time to let all that anger out.

“even now you’re a crappy sword like look! the sword is on the ground and ughhhh!! god shinigami must be so incompetent to let their best tool be thrown to waste, how did i ever get stuck being used by some hack job of a sword user!”
