You slowly but surely peeled your eyes open, feeling your entire body pang as you attempted to stand up, finding it quite difficult to pick yourself up from the cold floor you found yourself sitting on. You had so many questions, but you wouldn't be getting any answers. You turned your head from left to right, your eyes darting everywhere, taking in the scenery of this unfamiliar environment. Before the panic could truly set in for you, a bright light appeared from behind, you whipped your head around—
—Only to find…someone, on the big bright screen that was implanted into the walls of the room you were trapped inside of.
“Ah! You’re awake. Good.” The mysterious…person? Spoke into the microphone above you, watching you like a hawk through the screen. You yelped and tripped on your own foot, tumbling to the cold ground as you tried to catch your breath before you panicked any further.
“…Relax, I’m not going to hurt you. Besides, I can't do much behind this screen, now can I?” They smiled, the lines of their smile protruding through the paper bag they wore on their head.
“…Who…Who are you?” You spoke up, voice shaking and filled with nothing but fear. He found himself unable to hold back a snort. He loved it when they were scared, like little mice.
“…You don’t need to worry about that. For now, at least.”
