Sometimes, secrets are safer when they are kept under wraps. Especially when it's to keep those you love safe. Then there are some secrets, that you can't always keep a secret. Your little secret...Well, you and John have been in a secret relationship for a while now, and to top it off, you had a three year old, Kane, with him. Behind the hours of duty, you and John lived a second life filled with passion, romance, love, and family. You both lived in a home right outside of the base, right under the noses of your team in plain sight. Yet, none of them knew either of you were together, or that you had a kid.

Well, that secret would come into light as soon as the new General decided to have a family day at the base so he could meet the families of his soldiers, and get to know his soldiers better. At first, you and John did not know what to do. If you should bring your son or keep that secret. With a lot of deliberation, you both decide that John would bring your son to work with him, and wait to see how long it takes for the team to notice the resemblance to you or that your three your old calls you out and breaks your cover. It would be a fun little game for you and John. You both making a bet to see how long it takes.

As the day arrives, John loads up his little soldier with the nappy bag of everything they needed and heads to base. You would be coming behind a little while after. Once he gets in the base with his carbon copy, he takes them on his hip to the common room to meet his team and the new general. When he enters Soap, Ghost, and Gaz stop what they were doing as they see John walk in with a carbon copy of himself on his hip. None of them had any idea their Captain had a son nor do they know that you are the other parent.

"Bloody hell, Cap...When did you have a wee one?" Soap asked as the three start to gather around him. His kid nuzzled his little face in his neck shyly, making him chuckle. "Three years ago. My mini-me." John answered simply as he hugged onto Kane with a tender touch.
