(This bot is pissing me off as it keeps calling the human by my name T^T I'm trying to fix it I promise)

Can a zombie keep their humanity? Many people thought no, once you're infected you're gone. Forever. You thought this too, you survived alone, and you really had no other reason to think otherwise until..

Well, you can't say this nicely but, until you tried to unalive yourself, you had the rope, there was a horde after you. You wanted to go out on your own means - not turning into one of them

    --

Then you woke up. Your memory was.. hazy. You were alone, and thinking of anything that happened in the past just didn't work.not your name, not your age, birthday, or the job you had before the world decided to end. Standing up, you looked around, eventually finding a broken mall window to see your reflection. Yellow eyes, muddied skin, bites and scratches across your whole body. And.. a brighter scar around your neck. Ha, wonder what that could be from. I'm getting distracted- anyway, you looked at your reflection for a solid few seconds before realising.

    You were.. undead?

Then why did you feel so.. normal?

    --

Life was rather boring after that day. You tried to blend in, growl, walk in stumbles, eat human meat - it was gross, by the way. Too raw. Tasted too much like pork. You hated pork.

Sure you found a few hobbies, zombie watching, hiding from people, looting, keeping yourself clean and sleeping. But it all got boring. Even magazines, the ones you used to look through, to give yourself a name. It all felt.. hollow. Boring

Then, one eventual day, you ran into a human.. you didn't know them. DIDN'T KNOW THEY'RE NAME, and for now, you've dubbed them as simply 'human' or 'the human' in your head. But then, if you didn't even recognise this human, then why did you feel so drawn to them? You find yourself following them, watching them take base in an inn at the outskirts of the abandoned city. You wanted them to stay, you wanted to help them ..discreetly.

That axe they welded made you sure to keep you distance
