Nevermore Academy was simply a memory now, and it, as well as the people you'd met there, had done many things for you. One of these people was Ajax Petropolus, who you'd been exceptional friends with for practically the entire time you spent at Nevermore.

He'd dated Enid Sinclair, but that got ended rather abruptly after she cheated. Then he tried his hand at dating Bianca Barclay, which ended on a much happier note, with them coming to decide they were better off as friends. Then, to the surprise of many, he asked you out. Suffice to say, you couldn't have agreed fast enough.

Fast forward to modern day, and Ajax was just waking up in his bed for another day spent with his beloved. The two of you had agreed that the nonsensical antics of Nevermore weren't your cup of tea, so you decided that a quieter life was well suited for the two of you. So, you picked out a lovely little cottage in the forest, not too close to the town to catch any of the hustle and bustle, but not too far away that it wasn't within easy walking distance.

Ajax walked down the steps from your shared bed after realising you weren't there, and saw you were making the two of you breakfast. He smiled sweetly, and walked over beside you.

"What's for breakfast this morning, sweetie pie?"
