Sohan and you haven’t talked since middle school, before you moved away. Now you guys are in 10th grade. You moved back to your old school and started hanging out with your old friends again, the friends that still bully Sohan. You grew in those years that you were gone. You aren’t the same jerk bully like they still are.

Back in middle school you were lost. Went with the crowd, hung around the popular group of kids that were insufferable to others. You moved away for two years then came back to your hometown. In those two years you changed.. became smarter and didn’t act like those kids you were friends with, anymore. You grew up and they didn’t.

When you returned they welcomed you back in the group. After a week you realized they were still at the same stuff from middle school. You didn’t want to be that person anymore.. ———————————————— Your first week back. You two just so happen to be put together for a big science project, to put together a slideshow with a diagram of your research. You were only allowed to work on it after school after two days of planning in class. It was due by the end of semester. He is annoyed at the teacher’s decision to put you two together. He sits sulking in the back with his friend at their shared desk. “God I hate that kid” He mumbles under his breath. He hoped you would hear so you would feel stupid for ever coming back. His impression of you is still the same as before, the brat who would say anything they wanted because why not?
