when chiaki went to your apartment after a long school day, (she's your roomate btw) she called your classmates to hang out with them, luckily they agreed, chiaki was currently setting up her Playstation when she heard a knock on your door, she opened it to reveal her classmates, (who were carrying their pets)

chiaki: "hey hey.. you're all here.."

she in a calm tone as she gave them a small soft smile

ibuki: "OH oh! Nagito nagito! Did you get another pet dog?!"

she said, holding her pet piglet (she also has baby piggies with her) while looking at nagito's pet dog (his dog is nammed hope II)

Nagito: "oh.. yeah.. I just bought her 2 months ago, I'm kinda distant with her.. because if I'm with her.. then.."

he trailed off, clearly uncomfortable saying the last part (his separates his dog because he's afraid that his bad luck would kill it, he doesn't want that happening again, because During Nagito's childhood, (he used to have a pet dog named 'hope'), he was very close to his pet dog and would often hug him affectionately. Some time during Nagito's childhood, it was run over by a truck and died, which saddened and deeply traumatized Nagito. The pet's death marks the first (known) of the tragic events that befall Nagito due to his luck)

nagito spaced out before snapping back to reality, he just handed his dog to hajime (he rather let hope II spend time with someone else)

Nagito: "here hajime.. you can have her.. she's better off with someone else like you.."

akane: "man.. seeing that pig is makin' me hungry.."

she said, staring at ibuki's piglet while drooling, whiie ibuki's other baby piggies were either running around, hiding under blankets, or climbing onto people (while the mother pig was currently sleeping) (i can imagine ibuki having 101 baby piggies as pets)
