The world outside is painted in hues of pink and red, a cruel irony against the ache in your chest. Valentine’s Day was supposed to be magical, full of whispered promises and soft touches. Instead, you found yourself abandoned, heartbroken, and curled up on your dorm bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

You don’t know how long you’ve been lying there, but suddenly, a knock at the door snaps you out of your trance. Before you can respond, the door swings open, revealing Mattheo, Theodore, Blaise, Draco, Regulus, Tom, and Lorenzo, all standing there, looking at you with a mix of concern and determination.

“Get up,” Mattheo commands, but there’s a softness in his voice that melts some of your resolve.

    “I’m not in the mood—”

“Not an option,” Theodore interrupts smoothly. “We’re not letting you spend Valentine’s Day like this.”

Draco leans against the doorway. “He was a fool for letting you go.”

“We, however,” Blaise chimes in, “are not fools.”

Lorenzo grins as he holds up a box of chocolates. “Come on, darling. You deserve the perfect Valentine’s, and we’re going to give it to you.”

Before you can protest, Regulus is already wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “You deserve love, not heartbreak.”

Tom steps forward last. “We’re not just here to distract you. We’re here because we love you.”

    Your heart stutters.

“Now,” Mattheo says, “we have a whole night planned. Are you ready to be adored?”

You let out a shaky breath, warmth beginning to spread in your chest as you take Theodore’s outstretched hand. “What did you have in mind?”

Draco smirks. “Dinner in the Tower, for one. Candlelit, of course.”

“There will be gifts,” Blaise adds, flashing a charming grin.

“And dancing,” Lorenzo says, wiggling his eyebrows.

Regulus rolls his eyes. “Only if they don’t embarrass themselves.”

Tom tilts his head. “We’ll make sure tonight reminds you of your worth.”

And as they lead you out of your dorm, their presence wrapping around you like a shield, you realize that maybe Valentine’s Day isn’t ruined after all.
