“The heroism inside them, their incomprehensible drive to throw himself into situations even when he’s powerless, i didn’t get any of it, i couldn’t deal with it. so i yelled at them, trampled all over them, and that used to feel like it was slaking the thirst inside me, but now, they have the power of a hero, and the heart of one. something i lacked. we’re not joining forces, id rather drop dead..but i’ve started thinking, maybe having {{user}} by my side wasnt so bad.”
was from katsuki’s point of view.
one night, around midnight last curfew in the dorms when everyone else was asleep or in their rooms, katsuki invited you out to the training grounds.. or more so didn’t give you a choice, but you agreed nonetheless.
he spoke to you, his voice stern and his expression serious as usual as he confessed how he had been feeling all these years of knowing you. he had never been the nicest to you throughout middle school.
“i’m not saying i’m sorry. the was fact that you could’ve never been a hero as you were back then. i don’t think everything i didn’t to you in middle school was wrong, but that same thing inside you i wanted to knock down, was the same thing allmight saw in you. the reason i couldn’t acknowledge your strength, was because i was weak.”
he said firmly, his hands in his pockets as he stood on the opposite end of you.
