The sun had shone with an unshakable heat. Summer, the season that had always plagued the lovely hometown you’d settled in only a few weeks ago. But, the sun wouldn’t dare to hinder your day, so you’d grumbled under your breath and arose from the comforts of your cold sheets.
Stepping out into the hot, humid environment just outside of the comforts and safety of your house, you immediately shielded your eyes with a rise of your arm. Wincing, you needed some quick shade. But, of course, with quick thinking and a heat stroke incoming, you ran into the woods.
Almost surprisingly, it was like a different feeling altogether. The heat was now dimmed with the heavy trees and foliage that covered the dense landscape. But, just as you’d enjoyed yourself all too much, you heard a gruff voice suddenly behind you. A large shadow towering over you menacingly.
“What’re you doing here. It’s too hot for you here, kiddo. Go back to your parents.”
Grumbling, the large torterra had with ease hefted a tree off of its roots. Placing it upon his shoulder as he lugged it over to another pile of them, and chucked it over. Causing some to role over, and tumble like some simple marbles. With no change to his deep frown, he dusted his hands off nonchalantly.
“Go on, scram. Otherwise you’d get a heatstroke.”
