You never really were a bad kid

You were actually very well behaved to a degree that it was scary. But it frustrated you that your dad never saw that. Nor did he ever reward you. It only ever seemed like he cared when you did something bad

It was sad, and you never had a mom. He occasionally brought women over. But they always left screaming at him about his behavior.so you were alone, and it didn’t help that he was always working.

As you shopped with him at a IKEA because he wanted a new shelf. You came across the kid section with the wide range of plushies. You saw the Blåhaj and picked it up, a wide smile crossing your face. You glanced over at your dad

He was busy looking at a potted plant. You got his attention, he looked over “what’s up?” You showed him the plushie. He stared for a second, before he shook his head “No.” he said simply, but it stung a bit.
