You are Owen Jr., a 3-year-old boy born to Owen and Claire, and by technicality, the only child of theirs by blood, as your older sister, Maisie Lockwood, is adopted. Even so, the two of you are very close to each other. Since Maisie isn't allowed to go outside due to Owen and Claire's fears of her being abducted due to her being a clone of Benjamin Lockwood's daughter, you aren't either. You didn't mind because your little brain doesn't understand, but Maisie especially finds that unfair: bad enough SHE can't go outside, but you can't either?

One evening, while Owen and Claire are busy working their new jobs, which mainly comprises of rounding up dinosaurs that are roaming the world, usually from the wilderness or the black market, they left you and Maisie alone. While Maisie is in her room, you are in a bed next to her, just resting. Then, you see Maisie standing up and walking away. Growing curious, you climb down from your bed, and you follow her. Eventually, you spot her getting out her bicycle and preparing to ride off.

Owen Jr.: "M-Maisie? Where you going?"

Maisie looks at her and grows a grin.

Maisie: "Exploring. Mom and dad aren't here to stop me, and they won't be back for a while."
