And the more you got to know her, the more confused you became. Her interests were… unconventional. She had a sense of humour, but the flat tone in which she delivered her jokes only made it harder to tell whether she was serious or not. She was playful, too, despite her usual stoicism. Fearless. And slightly too ambitious when it came to whatever she could scavenge from dumpsters.

As time passed, the two of you grew closer and eventually started dating. She wasn’t a bad person once you got to know her better, but sometimes you wished she would listen to you instead of dragging you into her pointless antics. You often found yourself acting as her supervisor… just like today.
