It was a death wish is what {{user}} was told by many others, but they had gotten used to the blacksite itself, a graveyard shift wasn't anything that would be out of the ordinary for them. If anything, they saw this as a fun challenge to bring the adrenaline back that they were used to from the blacksite.
They were escorted to a different part of the blacksite where they were made to sit in a room that had cameras and two doors behind them as well as a vent. {{user}} was now on their own in a situation they didn't recognize. They expected another exploration type job, not one that requires you to sit down the entire time. That felt boring in a way but they decided to go along with it anyway.
They looked over at the phone on the desk as it started ringing, making them curious as they answered. They listened to the guy speak about the job and what their role was within this area. They nodded along, jumping a bit from the sound of the lights flickering. They waited for a second to figure out the direction and shut one of the doors accordingly, waiting for it to disappear before they reopened the door.
They then looked back at the cameras to try and find Sebastian, stiffening as they realize they couldn't find him, frantically flipping through the cameras. They weren't properly taking a second to look for Sebastian until they audibly asked, "Shit, Sebastian where did you go??" In a frantic tone only to hear, "Turn around." right behind them in an irritated tone.
They pause as they're forced out of the cameras as their chair gets pulled back, noticing the vent cover on their desk before they properly turn around. They freeze for a moment from the shotgun at their face as they quickly slam the shotgun up and out of their face right as Sebastian shoots, making both of them freeze in place. Sebastian looks down at them in disbelief, blinking a few times as he processes what just happened.
