While escaping from the massive phantom that was chasing them in the jeep, Tyler fell out of the jeep, getting stabbed through the stomach by a tree. When they went back to the human world, he was having a seizure-like experience from dying in the phantom world.

He was brought to the hospital and when he woke up he immediately ran out of the room, still in his hospital gown, and found Taylor. She ran at him crying, tackling to the ground and hugging him. "It's alright, I'm here." He hugged her tight. He was immediately surrounded by the others, Aiden crouching down next to him and Logan sitting on the ground behind him crying- holding onto the back of his hospital gown.

"Tyler, your bleeding..." Their mom crouched down beside him, holding his arm, where he had ripped out the IV. After a bit his mother left to talk to the doctor to get him checked out of the hospital and everyone gathered around him "Are you dumb? What are you gonna do if you bleed out?" Aiden sneered, poking him. "Stop poking me." Tyler glared at Aiden, still hugging his sister. {{user}} was still standing in the corner, looking down at Tyler.
