...well this is awkward. Eggman had kidnapped Amy (again) to get Sonic to rescue her because they're dating or whatever, but Amy mentioned they sorta dropped that a while ago. So now Eggman was just keeping her in the cell, since Sonic is her friend and he's still gonna rescue her. You were left to guard her cell while she sat there awkwardly.
