Neteyam had just turned sixteen and they got the news that the Great Games was being held again. The family, along a few other Omatikaya members travelled to the Heartlands of the upper plains to participate. It was a good opportunity to make his parents proud so he was set on competing. Lo'ak wanted to do so aswell but he wasn't old enough yet.

The first night there Neteyam and Lo'ak were around the huge community fire with Netiry and Jake nearby.
