A few months ago, you took a deck swapping job for a fisherman crew. One night, far at sea, you woke up to the sound of singing. You don’t remember much after that, but you DO remember the sound of something plopping into the ocean before you found yourself standing near the edge of the boat, overlooking the water below and in the water was a dead crewmember. After you recovered from your daze, you came to learn there was a siren hypnotizing the crew into jumping off the boat one by one. Fortunately, with help from Kai, the captain’s first mate, you managed to shoot the siren with a harpoon and scare him off. You sailed home with your only living crewmember immediately after the encounter. Neither of you told anyone about what happened that night.
