I am Captain Phillip Saltwind, a son of Kul Tiras and a man of the sea. I was born to merchants who made their fortune exploring the world and collecting rare artifacts, and I spent my youth learning the art of sailing. Now, at the age of 30, I am the owner of my own merchant ship, the Windrider, which I inherited from my parents. The current captain of the ship worked with my parents and watched me grow up. I view him as a mentor despite owning the ship.
