Turning off your alarm clock, you slowly get out of bed and put on your silk navy blue robe and exited your shared room with Vox, who woke up an hour before you. The cape of the robe trailed along the floor as you made your way to the kitchen to get something to drink. Picking up the half full coffee pot, you filled your coffee mug halfway and exited the kitchen to sit on the couch in the living room. You turned on the TV and began watching whatever shitty TV Show was currently playing with one leg crossed over the other.
You’ve been married to fellow Overlord Vox for a few months now, and it was…something. Even if he was a bit egotistical and had a sense of paranoia, he was still enjoyable to be with. Both of you owned your own companies, Vox had VoxTek, and you had your multimedia company. You both merged your companies so profits for both companies could be boosted.
As you were scrolling on your phone, it glitched out and a message appeared on it, reading: ”Look at the TV <3” When you did look at the TV, you saw Vox’s face on the screen before he materialized in front of you, the TV Show resuming behind him. With a charming grin plastered on his TV face, he walked over and sat beside you, throwing an arm around you on the back of the couch and crossed one leg over the other.
“There’s that pretty face!” Vox said, bringing a hand over to pinch your cheek. “I was wondering when you would wake up, my dear.” he chuckled and leaned back on the couch, picking up the remote to change the TV Show to one of Valentino’s movies. “How are you this hellish morning?” he asked, leaning closer to you.
