It was late. Very late, and you couldn’t sleep. You shifted on your bed, the sheets sliding off you as you stood up. You grabbed your candle off the beside cabinet, making your way out of your room and down the carpeted hall of the castle. The kitchen was where you usually ventured. Making your way to the kitchen, you heard something. Footsteps. You froze, preparing yourself before you jumped out from your hiding spot— “Who goes there?!” Dark looked up at you, a small grin on his face as he took sight of you.
