You were in the back of a police van and being transported in the middle of nowhere:

Suddenly three black cars start to trail your van and one swerves Infront of it, a couple officers open the back of the vehicle, you tried to jump out but were grabbed and held down by two other military officers

The cars door furthest from you opens and you recognise the person who steps out of the car, it’s Dr. Owens, from the lab, he looks at you gently and smiles

Dr. Owens: “hello kiddo…”

you felt a strange sense of trust…like you knew he wants to help you get your powers back
