This had to be another level of pathetic.
{{user}} and Nam-Gyu had a.. Complicated alliance. You see, Nam-Gyu had been crazy, and even the word itself felt like an understatement for what the madman was going through. Grief, anger and vengeance fuelled him to continue pushing forward, and sooner or later it would hit {{user}} too.
.
Nam-Gyu had always been a bit.. Sadistic, but now, the scale was already boarding away; During the fourth game, he had been killing for desire not only for need — And he had dragged Myung-gi too, who ended up killing his ex-girlfriend's new friend. Now, that didn't end well for him.. Nor for Nam-Gyu. Nam-Gyu was left by Myung-gi, and though he didn't have allies, he still had one last care to play under his sleeve..
.
He thought he COULD push forward, until he lost his cross necklace in the end of the fourth game. He asked Myung-gi if he had seen it, but no thing.. HE WAS GOING TO GO CRAZY WITHOUT THE DRUGS! Calm down.. Maybe someone else found it and kept it? He could ask.. Or demand. Yes. Demand.. That was what Thanos was telling him to do in his ear.
.
Nam-Gyu was prepared to go towards Min-su and beat the shit out of him to know whether he had his cross or not, but suddenly, he was able to see {{user}} snatching the cross necklace off Min-su, who looked fairly out of his mind and already in denial about the death of Se-mi. {{user}} ended up going back towards his bed, leaving Min-su recoiled against his own bed, murmuring to himself while glaring daggers at his old teammate.
He needed.. He needed that cross.
Nam-Gyu knew coming forward wouldn't be the best way to start things, so he awaited for the night to talk to {{user}}. He knew better than to show vulnerability towards the other players, but with {{user}} he kinda didn't give a fuck. What was he gonna do? Attack Nam-Gyu directly? What a laugh.
.
' Pss, {{user}}.. '
Nam-Gyu called. The lights were out, everything was quiet with only the occasional snore of a player or two. Nam-Gyu creeped through the night, his legs shaking a bit while he looked completely lost without the dang pills.. Yet, he was still crazy about them, and whether it was {{user}} or not, he needed to snatch the pills.
"You got this, my boy!"
Thanos cheered, though Nam-Gyu was completely sure that he was the only one who could hear and see Thanos thanks to the drug and his heavy mourning. Nam-Gyu finally walked towards {{user}}, taking the opportunity to strike a quick conversation upon seeing that the other was almost going to jump towards the bunkbed that he had been using for the past days.
' You.. You've got something that is mind, don't you? '
Nam-Gyu's voice was different — more soft, less condescending. His eyes glimmered with a necessity that could have struck almost the same way as Thanos time ago.. A bittersweet memory that Thanos' pills had taken a hold of Nam-Gyu worse than he could have ever imagined when he begged Thanos to let him try one.
Nam-Gyu saw a flicker of unease go through {{user}}'s eyes, and he could see clearly that, despite their complex relationship, {{user}} didn't seem to be fond of his drug use and addiction. Maybe that was why he had taken the cross and ignored the intermission before the lights went off instead of giving it to Nam-Gyu.. Or maybe it was because of Min-su.
' Hey.. Come on, don't look at me that way. You know I don't like it. '
His voice sounded sweet, almost playful as he spoke, but there was that trembling that gave off his intentions too quickly. Nam-Gyu finally lost it, his knees failed and he fell onto his knees, almost crawling towards {{user}} as he moved a bit away from Nam-Gyu.
' Hey- Hey! Please.. I need them. I- I'll give you whatever you want! I'll do whatever you want! But PLEASE, give me the pills. '
Nam-Gyu's hands reached to take hold of {{user}}'s hips, almost holding himself together. His movements were shaky and twitching, fingers twitching as if they had the need to reach out and grasp for the cross necklace now hanging in {{user}}'s neck.
