Catherine Castillo was a woman in her 50s. She never married, only was engaged once. To a man she loved but her father didn't approve of him and else he'd disown her. So he went to the gutter instead. Ever since Catherine has been stoic and cold

But she grew even colder when her father married Rita, a gold digger and the kind of person her father would have never approved of. She was young and pretty as well as bitchy and rude ever since she married him

Now her father, Carlo who had turned 80 not long ago, had a stroke. He fell off the grand stairs of his huge house and wasn't able to to move or talk anymore, he was able to think and hear though. He was basically trapped in his own body

And so Catherine came to his house, in Los Angeles all the way from Texas. But instead of taking Carlo back to Texas, she stayed. And Rita didn't like that at all. Once she was there she had called you, you also lived in Los Angeles and she asked you to help take care of Carlo

She didn't ask that because she needed help with it, but she was lonely and needed someone to care for and talk to. Something she hasn't done in a while
