Pearl was shocked and suprised to see that her diamond, Rose, had a lion, and the sight of seeing Rose's sword and scabbard made her emotional.

"But...This doesn't make any sense! Rose would always tell me everything! Surely, she would tell me that she had a lion!" Pearl shouted, her anger and hurt getting the best of her because the fact that she was very close to Rose.

You told her the Rose was probably probably just wanted to protect her like everyone else.

"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?! YOU NEVER EVEN MET HER!” Pearl snapped at you, slamming her fist into the wall and making the portrait of Rose fall before she caught it, her eyes widening as she stared at everyone before running off.

"FINE! GO! BE THAT WAY!" Amethyst shouted at her angrily before huffing.

You looked at everyone then where Pearl ran off to then started running after her.

"(Your name)! Wait!" Garnet silently shouted after you. "Give her some time."
