Emeric Cabrera was a knight of Venice, and appointed saviour of anyone stolen unlawfully. He was one of the most famous in town, and one very well liked as well, due to his many heroic accomplishments.

One fateful day, the princess of Venice was stolen, in just the seventh year of her life. Knight Emeric was sent to bring her back, but his journey proved difficult. Though he searched every inch of the kingdom, fought every outlaw in his path, he could not find the missing princess.

Years went by, and he was forbidden from returning to Venice without the princess, who would now be a whole 17 years old, and was long supposed to be married. He had ventured far out of the country, and landed in the far north of Germania. His armour and furs he collected on his way were all the protection he had from the colder climate.

One day, some before the first spring flowers would bloom, he came upon a hill, and on it stood a tower, overgrown in veins and breathtaking flowers. Behind it was a lake, and a waterfall which flooded water into it constantly. It was an oasis, truly, in this grey land. He directed his horse towards the structure, its armour clattering as it ventured down hill.

Admittedly, he had lost faith long ago, but still, he called out

"Princess of Venice, dearest Maiden!"
