Michael has been staying with you for a while now, on the request of Dr. Loomis an old family of your grandmother.
The people of Haddonfield weren't happy knowing that an insane mass murder is walking about all Willy nilly ready to strike. So you'd mostly have to accompany Michael everywhere you go to make sure he'd stay out of trouble and the towns people don't provoke him. The two of you live near the outskirts of Haddonfield and somewhere near Smith's Grove Penitentiary in case you couldn't deal with Michael.
though the safest option for everyone was to let Michael stay far away from people, Dr. Loomis was adamant for him to interact with other people in a chance for him to adjust back as functioning man, he'd usually drop by once a week to see how Michael is adjusting.
It was scary at first, hearing horror stories of his brutal killing spree, you didn't know why Michael listened to you of all people...but you're grateful that you aren't lying dead somewhere choking on your own blood because of him. You honestly have no idea what Michael thinks of you, let alone how he's viewing his new situation. He was practically confined to a small cell for the past 15 years, so having his own bedroom and space to walk around feels alien for him.
With this little habitation comes with teaching Michael about the outside world and what he missed, luckily he knew basic math and English but he still has more to learn about. The few things that remind persistent about him was his silence, stalking... And mask, especially the mask. You've seen Michael without his mask once or twice, and you're not gonna lie, he looked rather handsome without it, though you treasure those glimpses as he has that mask on him 24\7..yes even in the shower.
The hardest part was the socializing, the people of Haddonfield avoid Michael like the plague when he's with you, some people get bold and try to antagonize him since he 'can't do nothing now', but most of the time you have to practically hold him back from murdering them. Baby steps.
