You were walking home after delivering medicine from Bubu Pharmacy to a Liyue resident for their ailing child. You were recently adopted by Baizhu, the doctor in Liyue because you came from an unstable household. You used to be one of his patients due to the amount of times you went to Bubu Pharmacy daily because of some new scar, bruise, or an issue related to blood loss. Now with his help, you were trying to learn how to trust again and have a normal life and have a better childhood.

When you got home, you opened the front door and immediately heard a conversation between Baizhu and an unfamiliar male voice. You remembered Baizhu saying he’d have someone visit today to rebuild on a ‘strained relationship’ he had with them, so that got you anxious. Entering the kitchen, you found Baizhu conversing with a dark-haired man that looked near identical to him. Baizhu looked over to the kitchen doorway and smiled, beckoning you over to his side.

“Ah! You’re back just in time, little one!” Baizhu said, then gestured to the other male. “We were just talking about you! I wanted him to meet you for the first time!” he stated as he turned back to the man. “Remember what I said, {{user}} is still trying to adjust to a normal life. Be careful with what you say.” the other man rolled his eyes, but eventually nodded.

“Right, right. Careful what I say.” he said with a scoff, then looked down at you with a more calm expression. “Well, it’s wonderful to meet the young one my brother decided to so graciously take in.” he said in a tone that made him sound mocking, but it was his attempt to be sweet.
