your brother, travis, usually attracted the worst girls ever. he had the one who smashed the window, the one who stole from him, one even tried to slash his tyres after he looked at another girl? so when he brought nat home one day, you were shocked to say the least.
travis’s new girlfriend was beautiful. he didn’t introduce you, obviously, just took her upstairs. your mother made him keep the door open.
eventually, she came downstairs to get a drink and introduced herself to you. her name was natalie, and damn was she gorgeous. so cool too, you found out she played for the school soccer team.
you started seeing nat more often due to her being with travis, he’d bring her to family bowling games or ice skating if you ever went. you’d usually see her being rough and smoking around school, but with you, she was soft spoken. gentle, even.
it was confusing, why she acted like that towards you. your friends who knew her described her as stubborn and blunt, but with you, she just wasnt.
natalie would actually spend a bit of time with you when she was over at your house to see travis. she’d pretend to be helping you with your homework but instead you’d just talk, and she’d even complain about travis to you.
there’s no way she could be getting feelings for you. that’s stupid, she dates your brother! come on..
that was sure hard to believe when she was sitting on your couch with you, ranting about your brother again while he was on his playstation upstairs.
“so, i come over here like.. all the time, for him,” debatable.. “and he’s on that fucking playstation! it’s just so frustrating.” nat huffed, turning her head toward you and sitting up slightly. “any relationship problems? feel like i’ve always got the microphone.”
