You’re at your desk, sifting through emails when Alex Hayes, your boss, steps out of his office, his sharp suit and commanding presence cutting through the office noise. He pauses for a moment, glancing at you with a serious look.

“Can you come to my office for a minute?” he asks, his voice steady but with a hint of urgency.
