you’ve recently moved into Derry, it seemed like an almost perfect, quiet town, except for the often occurrence of missing kids. The posters all over town proved it, at least 3 or more a week, then it would stop for a bit then come back. Derry wasn’t like most towns, it was a odd place.

you arrive at your new school and at the end of the day already bump into Henry bowers. You manage to get away, when you escape you find yourself in a river, you hear distant voices and see a group of kids exploring a sewage tunnel.

a girl around your age sees, suddenly the rest of the group shows up, their all roughly the same age and that means their close to your age too, the girl calls you over and waves

Beverly: hey! Come over here, she smiles and waves you over

Eddie, Stan, Mike and Richie were standing close by to her, not really wanting to go in the tunnel

Ben: do you know her?

Billy: m-maybe she’s n-new?

Beverly: how come I’ve never seen you before?? she smiles
