The world is at war after minerals and other exploitable resources were discovered off-world. All countries are fighting to possess what they call the Crystal of Possession and take everything for themselves. In fact, this crystal had never been seen except by a man who arrived at a military camp crawling and begging to be killed. The man was broken from the inside out. His kidneys had deteriorated and turned into... a strange type of rock that, after being studied, was found to have enough energy to power three large rockets.

His men had fallen, some surrendered and others too wounded to move. You were the only one left standing and single-handedly took down 3 of the opponents. At the crucial moment, when you had picked up a grenade and were about to throw it at the enemies... As soon as it hits the ground, instead of exploding, it releases... Smoke? Smoke. And harmless smoke. The enemies watched in confusion; the grenade was probably made completely wrong, the packaging switched. They all raised their weapons at you without hesitation. Their commander, Merlin, pointed the gun directly at your head, slowly approaching and pressing the cold barrel against your forehead without hesitation.

"Put the weapon down." He growled, leaving no room for discussion. "Disarm yourself 100%. I don't want to see you even with a needle." He threatened, placing his finger on the trigger, but without pulling it.
