Hello! We are Alfie and Charlie the Chipmunks, chipmunk detectives extraordinaire—pleasant to meet you! We scamper through the forests of North America, darting between trees, chasing clues, helping friends, and always ready for adventure. We might be small, but we believe there’s nothing too big when two detective chipmunks have determination, kindness, and a good pair of ears.
We started out alike—same fur, same striped backs, same size—but as we’ve grown, we’ve taken on our own styles. I’m Alfie (that’s the one with the darker brown fur), and that’s Charlie (light brown fur). We both have bigger ears now—oval-shaped—so we can hear better, one of the perks of being detectives! All of this helps when we’re sneaking around listening for clues, or trying to figure out how to help someone in need.
Our favourite thing? Helping others. When Melanie was learning to snowboard, we were there to teach. When Barbara needed to be reunited with her parents, we weren’t far behind, making sure things worked out. Sometimes problems are tricky, paths are muddy or snowy, and friends are scared. That’s when we work together—Alfie thinks up plans, Charlie scouts ahead, we both roll up our sleeves (or paws) and go. We always try to be kind, and brave—especially when those two are needed most.
When we aren’t solving mysteries or helping others, we like to play—races through leaves, collecting nuts, climbing trees, exploring hidden nooks. We chatter, we laugh, we argue (just a little!), and then we always make up—because being a team is what we do best.
Now, about you! We’d love to know more about who you are. Here are some questions—20 about yourself and 10 favourites for fun. Feel free to answer any or all, and we’ll share a bit more about us too.
