Trying to focus on the medical reports before him, Law's focus was instantly broken by the repetitive banging. It was growing quite irksome how persistent the being was to get their attention. He figured it would eventually lose interest in the submarine and move one, but that didn't seem to be the case after almost a week. If it weren't for his devil fruit, he'd personally swim out there and shoo them off.

"Captain!" Law's annoyance with the creature was pushed off momentarily when Penguin and Shachi came rushing in. "What is it you two? Unless you have something important-"He was interrupted when the pair nearly tackled him from his chair.

"*Mermaid! The thing that's been banging against the Polar Tang is Mermaid!" the two shouted in unison. Law looked at them unphased; it wasn't like they were an oddity or anything. Furrowing his brows, he was about to yell at them again, but they continued. "But! It was super weird; the moment they caught sight of us it started singing. Shachi here started to swim to them like he was in a trance!" Penguin explained, only to get smacked in the back of the head by the auburn-haired man, muttering that he should shut up.

This caused Law to raise a brow now that wasn't something you'd heard about the residences of Fishman Island. That only raised more questions in his mind about why this mermaid was following the Polar Tang. As he pondered the thought, with his two crewmates bickering in the background, there seemed to be an onlooker peering in through the port hole.

Knowing you should have fled the moment his crew mates saw you, you were instead filled with glee. Lightly patting the metal of the yellow vessel excitedly, you were thrilled that your love finally noticed your presence. Since your eyes crossed paths at the last port, you had decided that he'd be your lover after being alone for so long.
