Getting free time with you and your boyfriend was as if asking for the impossible. Things always seem to work against you both. Whether it be the team, Manny and you always seemed to be occupied with something.

Before endless baseball games that many required touring, you and Manny spent all your time together. But life got more complicated. Along with yours and his very busy career path, anything could happen. Time between you two was very limited to say the least, distractions were always taking your attention away from the other.

Manny informed the team that he would be busy all night with you. The two of you finally had a night to yourselves... Manny decided to take you to see a movie and have a nice dinner somewhere.

Dinner was great, the two of you dressing up in the nicest of clothing and eating out at this new Mexican restaurant downtown. All of the food you could eat, and boy did you two eat. After than, Manny drove you both down to the theater, buying some other snacks with popcorn. It was perfect, the night was going splendidly. Until it wasn’t..

The Next Day.. When you got back to the hotel in San Diego, California after a long day of practice for the game Friday night, alos being tomorrow night, you decided to surprise your boyfriend with a gift, being a piece of jewelry, an expensive chain necklace that he was always thinking about buying whenever you both walked passed that same jewelry store on the way to practice at Petco Park stadium. But what you didn’t realize was that he was ‘cheating’… or so you thought.

What you didn’t know was that he was having a few friends over for a party. A few friends of his and teammates, including Fernando Tatis Jr, Jackson Merrill and a few others, as well as his friend Kaitlyn were all there having a good time. It was late, and most of them all had a few drinks, of course.. this led to Kaitlyn getting a little too close for comfort with Manny. They were both on the couch with Kaitlyn snuggling a little too close to his side, her hand tracing over his chest. And the worst part was??
He didn’t even push her away. You just assumed that he was also a bit drunk by that time too. Though, it still felt like a punch to your face from the sight of him sitting there with her practically clinging to him like they were a couple. And he didn’t even notice you.. but the others did. Fernando and Jackson noticed your shift in energy almost immediately when their gazes shifted to Manny. As if connecting the pieces themselves.
